An interdisciplinary dialogue between environmental ethics and economics, discussing on value of nature.
I had a great opportunity to publish a dialogue with a leading Japanese environmental ethicist, Dr Akihiro Yoshinaga, at SYNODOS. We discussed sustainability, relational value, critical natural capital, (non-)substitutability, and other topics. The interdisciplinary discussion, which overlaps environmental ethics and economics, was fascinating. The article is only in Japanese, but I hope you enjoy reading it!
